Since his studies, Patrick Schick (Dipl-Ing(FH) in the field of media informatics) has been active at the interface between humans and machines. After joining IDS in 2013, he started as product manager for the camera portfolio and the image processing software HALCON and MERLIC. In 2017, he became a Product Marketing Manager and has focused on the content design of trade events and trade fair presentations - from lectures to product demonstrations.

His focus is on giving people easy access to technology. It is important for him to be able to communicate in both worlds - way of speeking of users as well as of product developers. It is just as easy for him to gain inside into individual applications as it is for him to put on his developer glasses and immerse himself in technical details.
